Weekly Motivation: Not Taking On More Than You Can Handle.
This week practice mindful eating! Put your food or eating utensil down in between bites. Take the time to chew and savor each bite. When life gets busy it can be easy to get in a rush when we are eating and to consume more calories than we need. Remember it takes about 20-30 minutes for you to feel satiety or “fullness”.
Outside of eating, don’t take on extra responsiblites in other aspects of your life eiter! It can be easier to take on more responsibility than you can handle in other aspects of our daily living. Adding unnecessary stress is another way to steer off of your good eating habits. Don’t be afraid to say “No, thank you” to new opportunities that you just can’t handle!
